Cast of Characters:

Mamma Bug - Me. I'm an early 30s mom of one 6.5 month old daughter. I have high-minded ideals regarding things like a clean home, perfect work ethic, weed-free garden, and regularly-updated blog that are never quite achieved.

Daddy Bug (DB) - A wonderfully devoted father and husband. He works from home, absorbs political and financial news like a sponge, and avoids the outside world like the plague. This description, ANY description, is near blasphemy. Someday I may write an entire novel just about Daddy Bug, and then throw it into a fire in disgust over its inadequacy.

Little Bug (LB) - 6.5 months of muscle, noise, and intention. She wants to crawl, but makes do with rolling back and forth. Her mission in life: find new objects and place them in her mouth.

Whew, it has taken four attempts and 5 days to write this. I hope it to be an honest, open, anonymous blog. At this point, I don't think I'll post pictures. I have other venues for pictures, and they tend to be stumbling blocks that keep me from regular updates.

Part of me would love to set a lofty goal regarding frequency of postage... but, for starters, I'll just let nature take its course. If a month goes by without an update, then I'll make a commitment.
